The evening begins with Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s mesmerizing Tulips and lobster, a piece inspired by the 17th-century Dutch masters’ paintings. Next experience the groundbreaking energy of William Forsythe’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, a contemporary classic known for its intricate, highly technical movements set to an intense electronic score. The adventure continues with Lila York’s Celts, a ballet that beautifully honors the rich heritage of Ireland. The program culminates with hold on tight, a world premiere by Caroline Dahm. You’ll be left in awe of the depth and diversity dance has to offer.
