Disney's Frozen
Presented by The White Theatre at The White Theatre Leawood, KS
2025-2026 Theatre Series Co-production with The Coterie Theatre For the first time in forever, experience the musical phenomenon that has taken the world by storm! Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, Disney’s "Frozen" includes all the film’s beloved songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, along with new music written exclusively for the stage. In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf. Full of magic, humor, and a stunning musical score, "Frozen" is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love. Music and Lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez Book by Jennifer Lee Director: Khalia Davis

Graham Nash
Presented by Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts Kansas City, MO
Nash will be joined by Todd Caldwell (keyboards), Adam Minkoff (bass, drums, guitar and vocals) and Zack Djanikian (guitar, bass, drums and vocals), Nash will take the audience on a musical journey that encompasses his years with The Hollies, CSN, CSNY and his beloved solo efforts. ABOUT GRAHAM NASH Nash is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, with Crosby, Stills, and Nash and with The Hollies. He was also inducted twice into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, as a solo artist and with CSN, and he is a GRAMMY Award winner. Towering above virtually everything that Graham Nash has accomplished in his multi-faceted career stands the litany of songs that he has written and introduced to the soundtrack of the past half-century. His remarkable body of work, beginning with his contributions to The Hollies opus, including “On a Carousel” and “Carrie Anne,” continues all the way to Now (2023), his most recent solo album. The original classic union of Crosby, Stills & Nash (& Young) lasted but twenty months. Yet their songs are lightning rods embedded in our DNA, starting with Nash’s “Marrakesh Express,” and “Lady of the Island,” from the first Crosby, Stills & Nash LP (1969), and “Teach Your Children” and “Our House” on CSNY’s Déjà Vu (1970). Nash’s solo career debuted with Songs For Beginners (1971), which included “Chicago/We Can Change the World” and “Military Madness” and others. In addition to his string of solo albums, he has performed and recorded with David Crosby as Crosby/Nash. Their eponymously titled Graham Nash/David Crosby (1972) is…

Intimate Apparel
Presented by Kansas City Actors Theatre at City Stage Theatre at Union Station Kansas City, MO
“A justly acclaimed, beautifully written, and intensely personal play…” (Chicago Tribune) from two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage comes the soon-to-be classic, Intimate Apparel. Set in 1905 New York, Esther works as a seamstress sewing exquisite lingerie for an array of clients, but her skill with needle and thread has led to an absence of a personal life. As Esther explores a forbidden romance with an Orthodox Jewish fabric vendor and a long-distance courtship with a worker building the Panama Canal, she also gets exclusive access into the private lives of her clients. Nottage explores a distinct time period in New York and “honors a legacy of a woman, and those like her, whom history nearly forgot.” (Broadstreet Reviews)

Herbie Hancock
Presented by Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts Kansas City, MO
Herbie Hancock has been an integral part of every popular music movement since the 1960s. As a member of the Miles Davis Quintet that pioneered a groundbreaking sound in jazz, he also developed new approaches on his own recordings, followed by his work in the 70s — with record-breaking albums such as “Headhunters” — that combined electric jazz with funk and rock in an innovative style that continues to influence contemporary music. “Rockit” and “Future Shock” marked Hancock's foray into electronic dance sounds; during the same period he also continued to work in an acoustic setting with V.S.O.P.Hancock received an Academy Award for his Round Midnight film score and 14 Grammy Awards, including Album Of The Year for “River: The Joni Letters,” and two 2011 Grammy Awards for the globally collaborative CD, “The Imagine Project.”Hancock serves as Creative Chair for Jazz for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and as Institute Chairman of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz. In 2011 Hancock was named a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and in December of 2013, received a Kennedy Center Honor. His memoir, Herbie Hancock: Possibilities, was published by Viking in 2014, and in February 2016 he was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
