Three fierce vocalists– Delynia Jannell Brown, Paula Saunders, and Charlotte Fletcher– join forces for this special performance.
Delynia Jannell Brown was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. As a vocalist, recording artist, and songwriter, Delynia has shared her musical talents locally, across the country, and internationally. She has sung background for Shania Twain, performed at Carnegie Hall, and toured with the Washburn University Choir in London. In 2006, she released her first contemporary Gospel debut album titled I Give My All.
Paula Saunders is a familiar face in the Kansas City music scene. Her claim to fame has been the ability to sing beautifully in the alto and tenor range, something that is uncommon among many female vocalists. In October 2014, Paula released her first project entitled, Introducing Paula Saunders. It is a collection of timeless jazz standards that everyone is sure to enjoy.
Charlotte Saunders is the lead vocalist for her group, Charlotte Fletcher & Soigné. Providing the best in R&B, Soul and Gospel music, Charlotte Fletcher & Soigné was organized in October 2012. They provide a fun, interactive experience. They have opened for Morris Day & The Time, Sister Sledge, Will Downing and the Average White Band.
Blue Monday Jam Session: Millie Edwards

Bring your instrument and sit in at the weekly Blue Monday Jam Session – or just take in the sounds of one of Kansas City’s best jam sessions. Each Monday night begins with a set by a featured ensemble and then we open the mic to interested musicians. Doors open at 5:00 pm, live music starts at 7:00 pm, jam session starts at 8:00 pm.
Kansas City vocalist and pianist Millie Edwards started playing piano at age four. She studied music at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. In 2016, Ingram’s magazine listed Millie among “50 Missourians You Should Know.” She is known for her impressive vocal range. She performs regularly in Kansas City jazz and blues clubs.

Jackie Zamora has become one of the most popular singers and entertainers in the American Southwest. She began studying music at the age of 13 with her mother Estela in her native home of Lima, Perú. After relocating to New Mexico, Jackie sang with the Western New Mexico University and University of New Mexico choral ensembles, but soon took a detour from choral performance to explore her love for Latin music. She currently sings for the New Mexico Latin Jazz orchestra, leads her own ensemble and sings with the most seasoned salsa bands in the Southwest and Midwest regions.
