‘Revolutionary Icons’ with Runge&Ammon
Friday, May 6 | 7:00 PM
Yardley Hall, Midwest Trust Center

Thanks to his ‘rock star’ works (eg the ninth symphony’s ‘Ode to Joy’ or the ‘Moonlight Sonata’), Beethoven has become an iconic pop star in the world of classical music. In this unique program created by piano/cello duo Runge&Ammon, Beethoven is juxtaposed with the revolutionary icons of the rock-pop-jazz genres to create unexpected perspectives and a heart-pounding listening experience.
