Unicorn Theatre Features Big League History with “Toni Stone”

Kicking off Unicorn Theatre’s 49th season is Toni Stone by Lydia R. Diamond.

Toni Stone was the first woman to play professional baseball for the Negro Leagues. The funny and fascinating story of this female trailblazer and true unsung hero explores race, gender, and the raw ambition required to achieve your dreams!

Toni Stone is directed by Brad Shaw with designs by Atif Rome, Victor En Yu Tan, David Kiehl, Arwen White, & Eric Palmquist. The cast features actors Jaeda LaVonne, L. Roi Hawkins, Robert Vardiman, Terrace Wyatt, Jr., Robert Coppage, III, Keenan Ramos, Adarius “King Dari” Wells, Daniel André, and Aaron Ellis.

Join us for Pay What U Can Performances every Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. At Unicorn Theatre we strongly believe that art is for everyone, so anyone who cannot afford a full-price ticket is welcome to pay what they can. Pay What U Can tickets are only available “day of” over the phone or in person from Noon – 15 minutes before showtime and are subject to availability.
