Do you ever feel as if everything is pointing you towards something…space, time, history? For longtime “Outlander” fans, these words feel like home. As the global phenomenon reaches its conclusion in 2026, its heart continues to beat on stage with “Outlander in Concert.” The officially licensed live concert experience was created in collaboration with its showrunner Matthew B. Roberts and original Emmy Award-winning composer Bear McCreary. Like the stones of Craigh na Dun that carried Claire through time to Jamie, this symphonic experience guides audiences through love and loss, past and future, Scotland and beyond. The iconic score by Bear McCreary takes centerstage, performed live by an orchestra, while the series’ most stirring moments unfold on a cinema‑sized screen. “Outlander in Concert” celebrates the show’s rich heritage, its timeless characters, and the sweeping landscapes that made us fall in love. Premiering in Scotland, the heart and home of “Outlander,” Echoes of The Highlands will fill the air, reminding us that this is not the end… but just the beginning. Founded by renowned dancer Daniel Ulbricht, a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, Stars of American Ballet is a touring ballet company created to bring together leading dancers from major ballet companies and present high-quality performances to audiences across the United States and around the world. Unlike traditional ballet companies with a permanent roster, Stars of American Ballet features a rotating cast of elite performers who come together for special tours and performances. The company presents a mix of classical ballet pieces and contemporary works, giving audiences the chance to see a variety of styles in a single program. Since it began, Stars of American Ballet® has presented over 90 works including repertory from dozens of dancers and choreographers, traveling all over the United States and abroad. Since its founding in 2009, Stars of American Ballet has performed in theaters, festivals, and special events throughout the United States and internationally. The performances often include famous classical excerpts along with new choreography created specifically for the ensemble. The group is known for its energetic performances and for showcasing some of the most talented ballet dancers performing today. In addition to performances, the company sometimes participates in outreach events and educational programs that help introduce audiences to ballet. Through its touring productions and collaborations, Stars of American Ballet continues to promote and celebrate the artistry of American ballet dancers.

The MTC Kids Jam concert series is specially designed with families in mind! Join us in the MTC lobby at 10 a.m. for art activities, followed by an hour-long concert. Matt Heaton was raised in the golden age of kids’ media. “The Muppets,” “Free to Be You and Me,” “Sesame Street,” “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood” and more all provided the soundtrack of his early childhood. He tries to bring elements of those classic shows—the musicianship, the wit, the respect and kindness—to families today. His songs blend the mid-century rockabilly, surf, soul, western swing, and country music he loves with a sense of humor that works for both kids and adults. Heaton’s music connects with kids on an organic level, without the AI-generated bombast that fills the algorithms. His songs are full of good messages and good fun. He has songs about math and feelings, which sit beside beloved “dance numbers” and hits like “Don’t Drink the Water (That Your Butt’s Been In)." Whether he’s doing a show at a library, a theater or a pub, he plays to both the kids and adults in the room.

Ryan & Ryan is a dynamic father-son piano duo that blends classic and contemporary music into an enthralling concert experience. From Rachmaninoff to Gershwin to Billy Joel, Donald and Barron Ryan combine their talents to create a dazzling blend of old and new schools. A native of Trinidad & Tobago, Donald came to the United States to study music, earning degrees from Oral Roberts University and the University of Tulsa. He is well-known as a master of diverse styles—evidenced by a diploma from the 9th International Chopin Competition, as well as his induction into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. Donald has also earned the distinction of being among the most accomplished pianists in the world as a Steinway Artist. Given his father’s profession, Barron’s choice of playing the piano is no surprise, and he has been no stranger to the stage since the age of four. He distinguished himself in piano studies at the University of Oklahoma and has been a featured soloist at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, among many other venues. Barron has also been a prizewinner in numerous piano competitions, including the Oklahoma Israel Exchange Young Artists Competition in 2011.

Come and be swept up in romantic lyricism as violinist Stella Chen joins your Kansas City Symphony to perform Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto. Hear one sublime melody after another and feel the excitement of the nonstop perpetual-motion finale. Sergei Prokofiev’s Sixth Symphony is a profound work dedicated to the victims of World War II, by turns lyrical, austere, bright and unsettling. The final movement, according to the composer, reflects on “questions cast into eternity” and “wounds that cannot be healed,” and ends in a major key but with doubts unresolved.
