The Folly Theater Welcomes Grammy-nominated Sweet Honey In The Rock March 3

The Grammy-nominated, iconic, women-led African-American vocal ensemble Sweet Honey In The Rock visits the Folly Theater as part of its 50th Anniversary tour. Since its inception in Washington DC in 1973, the group has created a honed a cappella sound spanning multiple genres, including gospel, folk, hip hop, jazz, and Rhythm & Blues.

Sweet Honey In The Rock has thrived as both a performance ensemble and an ambassadorial African American organization founded on the missions of empowerment, education, and entertainment. They have created positive, loving, and socially conscious messages through their music, frequently taking an activist stance toward making this planet a better place for all to live.
